Mr.Nathan,
Thanks very much. I have to redo this although overall it may be ok! Talat is always a compliment! Only, initially, some three months back, when someone said that I sounded like SD Burman I got a minor shock!

Very soulfully rendered, Gopal Saar!

It had the same pacifying effect as the original! There were distinct shades of Talat and this is a compliment, not complaint! At places, your effort to keep up with karoke shows, but overall you succeeded in giving us a glimpse of 'sanmati' for a few minutes!

Regards,
Nathan.

 Hi Seaflower,
Thanks for your perceptive points.
I was quite tentative at many places while singing this. The phrase 'deh ..bhatke..praan' in my karaoke was confusingly phrased..At a couple of places too I had lost my concentration. I know I have to redo this. Your observation too has given me a good prompt for this.

It was good except that I felt the long sustained notes could have been more stronger, it was sort of done with hesitation..  with tiredness..but I enjoyed it ..I appreciate the way you write back to those who comment...nice

Hi mu,
Fine observations. Thanks. My voice keeps changing colours. My recording gizmos at home produce different pitches and different effects, depending on the time of the day!

Hi dr.sundeepbhagwat,
Many thanks. While the overall effect of my singing may be good, I know there are mistakes and shortcomings. Nobody can walk and run without falling and faltering in the beginning!
Sorry, I am not familiar with the other bhajan. Really, I don't think  I've heard of Raag Daani. Shall go into these things.
cheers

Nice singing. But the recording is not very good, I guess. The music took over your otherwise sweet voice. It sounded like a singer from the 60s .... reminded one of the classic oldies and the golden era of music. Cheers.

Dear Sir,
What a soulful rendition! Kya baat hai saab! This Lata Bhajan is one of my eternal favourites apart from another Bhajan from same film "Prabhu tero naam, jo gaye phal paaye" based on Raag Daani.
