 Hi Sablu Mukesh,
Many many thanks.
Pl see Mr.Nathan's comments here and also my rejoinder to him for your info and guidance.

I don't believe in 100 percent imitation of the song (let us forget the voice aspect here). No need for sur-to-sur , tan to tan, harkat to harat, imitation. I also break a phrase as per my capacity and convenience.

One point is that if the singer keeps a wide-open mouth and stretches his lips as if smiling, while singing, a more happy melody is produced. I follow this but also forget this point sometimes!

Two hours ago, I replaced the origially posted song here. In the older version I had over-stressed 'Te' in 'Teri'. In the new version the emphasis on 'te' has been eliminated.

You will get confused if you earnestly take everyone's comments. What strikes you, you may accept and follow.

Hi Gopal Sir,

Great to listen your one of the best renditions of Talat Mehmood. Your rendition is 100% perfect, very soothing, and mesmerizing to my ear. I hope if once Talat Mehmood himself listens your rendition, he will be astonished to listen from you. But so sad he is no more in this world but his talents will always be an immortal and evergreen in the world.

As I earlier also analyzed the same thing just after listening your Mohabaat Ki No Jo samjhe of Talat Saab. It was too great rendition by you. So once again I enjoyed your excellent rendition: Ye Hawa Ye Raat of TM.

Have a great day!

Regards,

Mukesh
